Critical Issues
11/15/2006 - PPB, Cystic Nephroma & Small Bowel Polyps:

The International PPB Registry has identified a unique subset of children with PPB + CN. Approximately 30 patients and/or families with PPB and CN have been collected. Within this group is a subset of infants with PPB, CN and small bowel polyps (causing intussusception). Bilateral PPB and/or CN is the rule in these very young children. The extent of their developmental abnormalities is unusually severe and may be progressive. The Registry is eager to learn of additional patients with this triad. Please contact the Registry for additional details.
